In this connection, we would like to invite the FAU at all schools in Vågan municipality to a meeting to provide information about the work and to facilitate dialogue and participation.

Background for the meeting
The municipal council of Vågan municipality has decided to initiate the work on a comprehensive plan for the use of schools and kindergartens, with a deadline for political consideration by 15 April 2027.
The plan is to provide a comprehensive knowledge base for the future development of the municipality's kindergarten and school services, including in terms of capacity, structure, organisation and investment needs.
The purpose of the work is to:
ensure a long-term and sustainable development of the kindergarten and school services
provide a basis for priorities related to operations, maintenance and investments
highlight the consequences of various development alternatives
facilitate good political decisions about future structure and organisation
We want input from the FAU
The FAU is an important voice in this work. You know everyday school life and the perspectives of parents, and your experiences and input will be valuable in the further planning work.
