The Strauman shop provided the venue and good refreshments when the Strauman sports club gathered for its annual meeting.
The agenda included, among other things, the launch of the gravel pitch project and the election of a new board.
After the start of a fundraising campaign with VIPPS, contributions from the Strauman shop and local teams and businesses, the foundation is already so well underway that the annual meeting unanimously decided to go ahead with investing in a new gravel surface for the football pitch.
Photo from the last season with a senior team in Strauman (2014)The football pitch has always had a gravel surface and is co-located with the Strauman early childhood and education centre. The pitch was first completed in 1979 and is now the only gravel pitch left in Vågan municipality.
