The last time the gravel pitch was overhauled was at the start of the senior team in 2013, when the pitch was cleared of grass and given a new gravel surface.
In recent years, the pitch has primarily been used by kindergarten and school children. In the summer, the pitch is a popular gathering spot for holidaymakers and visitors and is used for many different activities.
Now the time has come to put the pitch in order again, and the sports club is launching a fundraiser for this purpose. The goal is to raise enough money to lay a new surface, as well as to purchase equipment that can be used for activities at the sports ground.
At the upcoming general assembly in August, people are invited to share suggestions for what the sports ground can be used for beyond football.
