On Sunday 23 July, it was once again time for the traditional Midsummer celebration at Nøkkåsheimen. Young and old gathered for a Michelin-worthy sour cream porridge and cured meats, with coffee and cake for dessert.

The grey weather did nothing to dampen the mood, and there was a Midsummer bonfire again this year.

Halfway through the celebration, a young participant noticed a car that was in trouble. One of the rear wheels was hanging in mid-air and the car was presumed to be off balance. Quick-witted as the discoverer was, the owner was made aware of what was unfolding outside the party venue, and measures were immediately put in place.
