In the Facebook group for Strauman, the relations team, through Anna and Andrea, invited everyone to a new edition of the bike race on Øverveien in Sydalen.
Many people turned up, and the race was held in brilliant sunshine and good spirits.
After the race, people gathered at Arne Jonny's place for grilling and play.

The invitation read:
"We in the kindergarten's relations team invite all children living in Strauman, aged 1 to 18, to take part in a bike race in Sydal on Saturday 27 September 2025.
Anything with wheels is welcome: roller skates, scooters, wheelchairs, tricycles, as long as it isn't electric.
Meet at 15:00 at Arne Jonny's place, and we start the race at 15:30 from there to Brennaveien in Sydal and back again for those who can.
A bonfire afterwards with grilling! Bring something to grill!
It will be cozy for parents and children to enjoy ourselves outdoors in good weather!"
