A packed café and store had turned up for the official opening of Snarkjøp Strauman, and there were only big smiles to be seen among the visiting customers.
General manager Daniel Edmundsen opened with a welcome speech and thanked everyone who has contributed to and supports the store.
Store manager Edmundsen quickly ran through the history of the store in StraumanIt was also nice that deputy mayor Marit Olsen from Vågan Labour Party showed up and gave an inspiring speech about the importance of having a store in the local community.
Straumankompaniet handed out the award "Strauman Resident of the Year 2024" to the general manager for his efforts in starting up the new store.
