Want to try an e-bike?

Strauman has received an e-bike to lend out to residents! The goal is for more people to start cycling, maybe to places where you used to drive? Public health and the environment at the same time!

The rules for borrowing are as follows:

  1. You register your interest by sending a text message to me, 95293594, or by commenting on this post.
  2. I will set up a rotation, where each household gets to borrow the bike one week at a time, ‪from Sunday to Sunday‬, completely free, until the snow comes. Then I will keep the bike in the garage until spring.
  3. As a borrower, you commit to storing the bike under a roof when it is not in use.
  4. When the next person picks up the bike on Sunday, the battery should be charged and the bike cleaned. If the bike is not lent out again after your period, it is returned to me/or we agree on more borrowing time.
  5. If the bike breaks or gets damaged while you have it on loan, you must cover the repair.
  6. The next person on the list picks up the bike from you, and together with you confirms that the bike is in good condition. If there is something wrong with the bike, we must be notified.
